The cons of outsourcing

We all know how outsourcing can be advantageous to a company. But it’s not all plain sailing. Just as with everything else, it has its own share of disadvantages.
The primary problem is that outsourcing often involves letting the third party be privy to confidential company information. The company that is doing the outsourcing may not be very reliable. Another major issue is that an outside organization is always harder to manage than an in-house module. Problems, if any, are easier to handle in-house than if they were in a different organization. And finally, the organization which your organization has outsourced to, will not think about your company first, because it’s a business after all.
